![]() ![]() Even if some iterations of this build exist that use, for example, the very expensive Atziri's Reflection, they usually just bump up the damage of this build from about 7-30 Million Boss DPS to about 9-35 Million, with about triple to quadruple the investment. ![]() If you’re looking to spend 20-40 Divine Orbs on a build, I would advise to look into something that scales a lot better off of gear. This build guide covers Freezing Pulse Totems like I think they should be played, on a relatively small budget, not too insanely min-maxed, and as a tool to just kill everything fast. Nowadays, however, it has gained a lot of popularity because it excels at getting stuff done easily, cheaply, and early! Obviously, Flameblast, Ignite, and spell totem were changed and the skill lost in popularity! Freezing Pulse totems were looked at as more of a meme-build, which was only done with tremendous amounts of currency to make it look decent. While this might sound horrible in the current state of the game, Flameblast Totems were considered the most broken thing to ever have happened to Path of Exile when they were popularized. One of the most iconic builds in PoE is definitely “Pizza Sticks”, which is slang that was used for Flameblast Totems. Totems have gone through a lot of iterations over the years, and other skills were popularized through skill balances, Ascendancy releases, and changes of mechanics. One of the most classic build archetype in Path of Exile definitely are Totem Builds. However, should we wait to push our guides until the program received its final update, we’d never be able to get you this content before the league hit. You can be assured that you can just follow that iteration of the Path of Building without any issues. You might encounter PoB’s which are outdated but that is either because you’re looking at a Path of Building that was released before the contributors of this program got around to patching it or leveling tree, which hasn’t changed. especially for DPS classes. If a guide says it was updated for a specific challenge league, you can be assured it was actually passed through & adapted for that specific patch. a new fire totem could help boost the strength. I think an argument could be made that totemic recall at the bottom of the new tree is quite a weak talent in some cases as there aren’t a lot of situations you need to double down on totems. May even add a new fire totem that increases resource regen or something. with the way the talent trees are going to work I don’t see the harm in adding something else like searing totem, flametongue or totem of wrath back in. It could go as an alternative optionof sundering. It might even be worth adding liquid magma to Enhancement so they at least get one fire totem as well. So a few easy soloutions would be to add liquid magma totem or skyfury totem to be on the neutral tree in dragonflight. The only one I can see at the moment is liquid magma totem and it seems like such a waste. so It doesn’t make sense to me that there is only one ability that use fire totems in the whole class (outside of PVP). Blizz work hard to add fire totem models to the game for each race they add. I have posted something simmilar every expac I’ve bet a tested so here we go again. ![]()
